Introducing RememberMe Trees at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show 2026 🌼
Many people are beginning to approach end of life planning in a different way, with a focus on creating something meaningful, personal, and lasting for their families.
Rather than leaving decisions to be made during a difficult time, planning ahead offers the opportunity to make thoughtful choices together, bringing a sense of clarity and peace of mind. For some, it also becomes a positive and considered life decision, an opportunity to choose how they would like to be remembered, and to create something beautiful for the people they love.
At Wooling Hill Memorial Estate in New Gisborne, this approach is reflected in a garden setting designed for connection, nature, and time spent together.
For those who feel a connection to nature, a memorial tree offers a particularly beautiful way to do this - becoming part of a living landscape that continues to grow over time.
A Living Memorial — RememberMe Trees
We are pleased to introduce RememberMe Trees, launching at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show, a new living memorial offering at Wooling Hill.
Located within The Remembrance Rise, overlooking Mount Macedon, these trees will form a beautiful garden space where families can return, spend time together, and feel connected to both nature and memory.
Over time, the trees will grow and shape the landscape, creating a place that evolves gently with the seasons, a space that feels alive, welcoming, and enduring.
Families can choose from a selection of carefully considered tree varieties, including:
Each tree has been selected for its beauty, seasonal character, and contribution to the wider garden landscape. With a RememberMe Tree, a loved one's ashes are respectfully interred beneath the chosen tree, creating a living place that families can return to - not only for quiet reflection, but also to spend time together in a peaceful and uplifting setting. | ![]() |
Many families bring children and grandchildren, allowing the space to become part of family life. Wooling Hill is somewhere to visit, to walk, and to create new memories over time. Children are often drawn to the gentle, open environment, where they can explore the gardens, visit the chickens and goats, and say hello to Lucy, our much-loved Moodle, who is always nearby.
A RememberMe Tree can accommodate the interment of one or two people, offering a meaningful option for individuals or couples who wish to be together.
Pricing and Options
Interment for one person begins from $6,500, with an option for two people available from
$9,500. All tree purchases are in perpetuity, with no ongoing costs.
For many families, choosing a memorial tree offers a simpler and more considered approach. While some may still choose to hold a memorial or celebration of life, others find this provides a complete and meaningful alternative, one that is both personal and economical, without the complexity often associated with traditional funeral arrangements.
