ABOUT WOOLING HILL
Nestled on Barringo Road in New Gisborne, Wooling Hill Memorial Estate is a sanctuary of peace and natural beauty.
Established in 1840 by the Robertson family, Wooling Hill was one of the earliest settlements in the Gisborne district. Over time, the property grew into a small village, with flourishing orchards, kitchen gardens, and a private cemetery marked by Italian cypresses and handcrafted posts, a lasting reminder of its rich history.
Today, spanning 40 acres, Wooling Hill continues to preserve memories through its memorial trees, gardens, and dedicated spaces for reflection. Families across the Macedon Ranges and greater Melbourne come to honour loved ones in a tranquil environment designed for contemplation and remembrance.
Wander through immaculate lawns, mature trees, and European-style gardens. Discover tranquil lakes, a fragrant rose garden, and a peaceful atrium with a central water feature.

The landscape transforms beautifully throughout the seasons, from the warm colours of autumn leaves to the lush greenery of spring and summer, the gardens remain lush and vibrant year long, framed by sweeping views of the Macedon Ranges.
Every corner of the estate has been crafted to inspire quiet reflection and lasting remembrance, a timeless setting where memories are honoured in harmony with nature.
